Toronto Police Seek Suspect Following Brookbanks Park Assaults

Toronto police are looking for the public’s help in tracking down a man, following two recent assaults in Scarborough.

Both of the alleged assaults took place on Monday February 1st, in the Brookbanks Park area, the first happening at around 1.30.p.m when the suspect approached a 33 year old woman from behind, before assaulting her and fleeing the scene.

Just half an hour later in the same area, a 20 year old woman was approached, once again from behind and assaulted, she  managed to escape and run away.

The suspect is described as black, in his 20′s, approximately 5’6″ – 5’9″ tall, with a skinny build.

According to police, he was last seen on Wednesday, February 3rd, in the Brookbanks area, wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, green or grey pants and running shoes.

He was also wearing a black fitted ski mask and black aviator-style sunglasses.

Police are asking the public to be vigilant in this area of Brookbanks Park, from Valley Woods Drive and York Mills Road to Parkwoods Village Drive and Cassandra Boulevard as a result of the attacks.

They have also released a composite sketch (pictured) of the suspect in the hopes of tracking him down.
