Emergency services responded to a call at around 7 a.m at a factory near the intersection of Vickers Road and The East Mall.
One man has been taken to a local hospital after a machine pinned his legs to the ground. Paramedics say the man is lucky to be alive and has potentially sustained two broken legs.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
