A 35 year old man has been charged in relation to the 13th murder of the year in Toronto.
Police were called to the scene at Gucci’s Bar and Grill on Jane Street, near Lawrence Avenue West at around 2.a.m on Tuesday morning following reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival they found found two men suffering from stab wounds, both were taken to hospital where one of the victims was pronounced dead.
He has since been named as 20 year old Kiowa Wind McComb.
The second victim, a 23 year old man suffered non life threatening injuries in the attack.
A 35 year old man was subsequently arrested, when officers stopped and investigated a taxi in the area where the stabbing took place.
Andre Appleton of Toronto is now facing a charge of second degree murder and another of attempted murder.
Meanwhile, police are still on the hunt for another suspect who exited the taxi before police arrived.
