Toronto Police Release Surveillance Footage Of Murder Suspect Of Sylvia Consuelo

Toronto Police have provided an update this hour on the 10th homicide of the year.

That’s after 34 year old Sylvia Consuelo was found dead in a apartment near Kipling and Albion last Saturday.

Police wouldn’t say what the cause of death was at the time but they’re asking anyone with information on her whereabouts that weekend to contact them.

Police have released security camera footage of the suspect today.

He’s described as a male with a light skin complexion. He was wearing Nike Roshe one running shoes and red BBQ remix jeans, a black leather bomber style jacket with a grey hoodie with a plaid pattern along with a black and white plaid scarf and a black toque.

Police say the suspect entered the apartment and he brutally sexually assaulted and beat Sylvia Consuelo before suffocating her to death.

Police say Consuelo had mental health issues and narcotic addiction issues. They say she supported her addiction through prostitution.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call police or crime stoppers anonymously.
