Police have charged a 23-year old man in a years-long string of sexual assaults committed against a child at his family’s home daycare.
Late last month, York police began investigating reports of the assaults, which they say was committed against a young girl between 2014 and 2018.
The suspect’s family, police say, has operated a daycare out of the suspect’s family home, near Bayview and Palmer Aves., in Richmond Hill for a number of years.
Charged with five counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference of a youth under 16 is 23-year-old Karim Saad of Richmond Hill.
He next appears in court on July 26.
