Josiph Cardle, 44 of Toronto, has been charged with second-degree murder of Carolyn Campbell, 52 on July 5, 2018 incident


A man has been arrested in the death of a Toronto woman earlier this month.

Police received a call at 9:40 a.m. on July 5 near Pharmacy Ave. and St. Clair Ave. E. and found a woman without vital signs.

Carolyn Campbell, 52, was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Investigators haven’t released the cause of her death.

Campbell’s death is the city’s 55th homicide this year.

Josiph Cardle, 44, of Toronto, was charged with second-degree murder. He was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
