Toronto Police say woman stole dog while owner had medical episode on subway

Toronto police have released security images of a suspect wanted for stealing a dog after its owner fell ill on the subway.
Police say a 45-year-old woman got on the subway with her dog “Charlie” on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at around 4:10 p.m.
The woman suffered a medical episode at Kipling station and lost consciousness, police said in a release.
When she came to, her dog was gone.
On Friday police released images from the subway showing a woman walking away with the dog.
She’s described as five foot two to five foot five, 100 pounds with a slim build and long light-brown hair in a ponytail.
She was wearing black aviator sunglasses, a purple jacket, blue jeans, with black and white running shoes.
She was also carrying two black backpacks and a black bag covered in white stars.
