TORONTO - Mayor Rob Ford handed over a cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society Wednesday.
Ford raised $10,880 for the charity from sales of the Rob Ford bobbleheads back in December.
The second edition of 1,000 "Robbie Bobbies" sold out quickly during a one-day sale at City Hall just before Christmas. Ford and his office staff sold the collectables for $20 a piece with proceeds slated for the Cancer Society.
Ford started selling bobbleheads of himself back in November. The first 1,000 Robbie Bobbies sold went to raise funds for the city's United Way campaign.
Around 2,500 Ford bobbleheads are on the way.
A third edition of the Robbie Bobbie is expected to arrive soon - this one is expected to feature Ford wearing the mayor's chain of office.
