A medical technician has been charged with sexual assault following an alleged incident at Toronto’s Humber River Hospital.
Toronto Police say a 56-year-old woman was at the hospital Aug. 29 for an appointment.
During a medical test, she alleges she was sexually assaulted by a technician.
Dhavalkumar Desai, 43, of Brampton, was arrested Sept. 4 and charged with sexual assault. He is set to appear in 1000 Finch Ave. W. court on Oct. 8.
Police say there may be more victims, and urge anyone with information to call 416-808-3100 or Crime Stoppers.
