Man sought in alleged sex assault of boy on Aug. 16, 2018 in a department store in the Islington Ave. and Rexdale Blvd. area

Toronto Police are looking for a man wanted in the sexual assault of an eight-year-old boy who was shopping with his mom.

Officers responded to a sexual assault call Thursday at 10 a.m. at a department store in the Islington Ave. and Rexdale Blvd. area.

The boy was in the toy section when police say he was followed around by a man and sexually assaulted.

The man is described as 5-foot-9 with a medium build, short black hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a bluish-grey button-up shirt, blue jeans and a dark backpack.
