Alex Vinogradsky 39 of Thornhill gunned down in North York

The man gunned down in North York late Thursday has been identified as a 39-year-old from Thornhill.

Toronto Police say gunshots were reported in the Finch Ave. W. and Dufferin St. area around 10:45 p.m.

Officers found a dark-coloured SUV with “multiple bullet holes” and Alexander Vinogradsky outside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

He died at the scene.

Cops had said the suspect or suspects fled in a Mercedes.

Homicide investigators ask anyone who was in the area between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. who may have dash camera footage or any other video to call 416-808-3200 or Crime Stoppers.
