New video emerges of Jordan Hunt antagonizing anti-abortionists in Toronto
The notorious purple pummeller who was filmed assaulting an anti-abortion demonstrator has a new worry.
The cops.
A man identified as Jordan Hunt is now being investigated for a second suspected assault at another rally.
In the second video, it appears that Hunt runs after a woman and assaults her before monologuing in defence of his actions.
“My understanding is that yes, our investigators are reviewing this video as well,” a Toronto Police spokesman told the Toronto Sun. “Just to be sure, I have forwarded the video to the detective who is on this case.”
In the second video that emerged on YouTube, Hunt says: “Yeah, I tried to knock your stupid billboard.”
“If you don’t want me to f*** with your stuff, why are you trying to f*** with other people’s choices,” he said as he was being filmed.
Hunt — a hairdresser who has since been fired — attended an anti-abortion rally last Sunday in the west end as a counter-demonstrator.
But heated words turned to violence when, according to video, he apparently kicked activist Marie-Claire Bissonnette who was filming him, knocking her phone to the ground and injuring her shoulder.
So far Hunt has not been charged.
Police said members of the public reached out to them on social media on the identity of the alleged assaulter and the division is following up.
Bissonnette told the Sun that the suspect allegedly used markers to scribble on the signs and clothing of the protesters, including that of a 10-year-old girl.
Hunt has since deleted his social media accounts and couldn’t be reached for comment.
The counter-demonstrators asked Bissonnette if she was alright and eschewed efforts by the man to join their group.
Bissonnette said she plans to press charges if an arrest is made.
