Bullets fly across the city of Toronto overnight

There were four shooting incidents overnight in Toronto but only minor injuries and vehicle damage were reported.

Toronto Police say two men are sought after shots rang out at a building in East York, near Vanderhoof Ave. and Glassworks Dr., around 5:30 Saturday morning.

Investigators found evidence of gunfire, casings and holes in the building with minor injuries reported.

Earlier Saturday, just after 2:00 a.m., there were reports of a shooting at Clarkhill St. and Devondale Ave. — northeast of Finch Ave. W. and Bathurst St. — with evidence of gunfire damage to a car that was reported by its owner who was attending an event there. But nobody was injured.

In another incident, one person was taken into custody and a suspect vehicle located after a shooting at Victoria Park and Sunrise Aves. Again, nobody was injured.

Police are also investigating a driveby shooting at Lawrence Ave. E. and Railside Rd., west of Victoria Park Ave., where a shooter opened fire from a black vehicle last scene heading towards Lawrence. No injuries were reported but a vehicle was damaged.
